I am IMMENSELY proud of this.

Of course, it would have been posted earlier, but due to college and money and general life-bitchery, ya know. You almost didn't get to see this one.

My idea behind this was not only to represent a violent fight for supremacy through denial of a rivals necessities ((i.e why Brio is keeping that fucking crystal for himself rather than letting Cortex have it regardless of the fact that it's a pretty much useless substance to the mechanisms of all Brio's inventions and machinery )) it was also to see if I could represent Brio in SUCH a state of anger and pure hatred ((cause the man's got hatred )) that he simply crushes one of his beakers full of the many caustic substances/mutagens he likes to tote around/ingest, shattering that bastard and sending not only the fluid from inside the beaker EVERYWHERE, but also slicing up his hand and gloves in the process, which due to rage just goes COMPLETELY unnoticed through all the "give me that godamn crystal"s from Cortex.

I think I did a decent job drawing them despite the fact that it was about my third time ever, and as you can see I also included the currently unnamed "Crash Comic" that and I are working on in this pics continuum as more or less a serious addition to the plot-line, and as a catalyst for future creations. Gotta have a catalyst ya know.

Done in ALL kinds of markers and paints and mixtures of my own invention. Mmmyes.

Final note: I disliked it at first and obsessed over it plenty, as I am not used to doing such HIGH COLOR artwork, but I kept reminding myself that it fits the series, and went with it. Also and MOST importantly...you probably won't notice unless I point it out, but N.Gin up in his battle-machine there? You see him flipping the bird and brandishing that random object? Clearer in real life rather than photo, but yes that's what he's doing. The object is some kind of brush, I was originally going to have him brushing his teeth like he was getting ready for bed. N.Gin is just OODLES of fun like that.
