Crash Comic-Mungo and Grizza

Since my EXCITING advent to Michigan this holiday season, I have quite obsessively re-invested my time into the Crash Bandicoot series, as I've always been a fan but due to lack of connection with the one person who introduced me to the series and the ten years worth of Crash-related inside jokes her and I have between us two, I had sunken deep into a sloshing miasma, a fetid mire of apathy toward little else but my own agendas.

How very Cortex of me. Hmmm...

SOOO! **randomly flashes tits** And I have begun a slow and steady junction to get the Crash Comic back on the rails, speeding toward all those plump, screaming women tied to the tracks, waiting to be torn to all kinds of blissful threads that will make some VERY nice Christmas cards...

...Ooh! But look at me I'm digressing like a son of a bitch! No, I'm not gender-specific. I call myself an SOB and bastard. I like to think its unique. Anyhoo, these two are her little fan-inserts from yes...wait, was it 12 years ago or 10..??? YIKES! I'm getting old as fudge! AND, might I vouch for them because yes we realize there are Marysue possibilities ABOUND and we won't beat around the bush, BUT since we know this, we can easily avoid the mistake and develop some well-rounded characters with a history and a mortality about them, like the rest of the characters in Crash Bandicoot. Created by doctor Cortex and N.Gin in the comic I'm currently re-vamping for and named after Mungojerrie and Grizabella due to Cortex's light-hearted, eccentric fondness for the musical "Cats", they have not so much as created a hybrid nor a mutant strain as done with previous bio-projects, as they have an entirely new creature from the dregs of leftover adaptable genetic substances. Currently they are called "Gitaru"s, but I'm not sure whether this will be the permanent name for this Manticore/Chimera-type creature or not. That's why her and I need to have a meeting. As a biology-fanatic, I also MUST retrieve information on this creation right down to the very nucleotides before I'll be satisfied. I'm sadistic like that. ALL corners MUST be covered. I do this with "Project Arcana" and I'm SEASONED on genetics and what you can and can't do with them, although luckily Crash isn't onl a sci-fi's series, but a fantasy comedy too---so I don't have to be ENTIRELY thorough like I am with Project Arcana and A Human Boy.

Now, before we pull out the pack of felis braziliarro's on a couple more run-of-the-mill, hot chick characters---YOU all know I myself prefer characters with more than apparent flaws, after all my ABSOLUTE favorite crash characters are both N.Brio and N.Gin, FUCKED up BEYOND reason and yet still tough enough to carry on in life, this art I did many months ago is the old design of MJ and GB, since then has begun a character redux of them both, adding more realistic features, flaws, ferocity and while they're still pretty, there is a definite hint of intimidation in there now and I can't wait to render some of them according to the new character sheets.

But, it doesn't mean I'm not proud of this pic. Cause I am. To me its some of the prettiest work I've ever done. I keep thinking you know, as long as I sit around and ponder and experiment, give or take 6-14 hours a day every day. I could do this pretty thing better. But...my brain just doesn't want it if its to perfect ya see.

Done in copic marker, watercolor paint, sparkles done in GIMP because I left my materials to render them traditionally at my dorm in Harrod Hall Penitentiary.

P.S: Oh yes, and Brio is definitely in the Crash Comic, I'm not sure where he goes in though right at the moment because and I need to have a board meeting on MSN or something one of these days. God I miss her! I want my own jet dammit!
