Very interesting character you have there. I'm actually not familiar with Project Arcana, so I'm curious if people like this are common with it.

As for the art itself, I like how it has a 'sketchy' feel to it, and the color isn't filling all the time. It gives hime a lighter feel, despite his background.

That's kind of creepy, I'll admit, but it's good. ^_^

Actually, you'll be surprised to find out that Project Arcana is an original series of writing and hopefully manga in the future, created by myself and two other fantastic ladies. This is the first event character that our main characters get comissioned to hunt down by the lovely butch-lesbian owner of a bar in the red-light district. We've put an insane amount of thought into the series so far, and we've got such a long way to go, but yeah! Original series! I'm glad you find my rendering interesting. I drew him in the dead of the night, like many of my other "better" works.

I went for a more natural look in this one, I wanted it to have a more traditional medium feel, because I miss working with traditional mediums and I swear everytime I use digital coloration techniques, I die a little but more inside. D=; Not to say that digital mediums are BAD, they're actually neat-O, but...I pride myself on my traditional methods. And I no longer have time for them! D= I gotta finish these babies in a day or less!

Traditional methods are something I lack greatly at. Give me a pencil, tell me to draw, you get a scribble. I can't really draw on the computer either, but I CAN at least color on the computer. XD I'm not good with traditional methods in the fact I'm too attached to the 'undo' button.

Well thanks for the good luck charm! Really though, scientifically its all a matter of tact and probability whether it becomes a hit or not ((most likely not but you know most "good" series end up being underground, **hush hush**)) and you've probably heard the name elsewhere. Theres apparently a band called "project arcana" and the whole term comes from tarot in general, see the codenames of our lovely agents comes from a major card of the tarot, a.k.a Death, The Magician, Justice, The Lovers....etc....

So yar. A lot of thought has gone into it so far despite it being in beta stages, ((four months and counting, we're SERIOUS about our story)) and well...it started off just for our own pleasure but so much has happened that well...we think it has a potential to be a hit. Keyword:"Think".
