I took all of you guy's advice and made this picture keeping in mind that things shouldn't be shady, msty and dark like my usual stuff, and I did all I could to REFRAIN from my usual copic "technique" ( I quote that because it's HARDLY a technique ) of shading, coloring, shading again, then coloring again. This time around, I laid the color first, then added shadow ONLY when it was absolutely needed, and left some white.

The scene is of Grizabella from 's original and my adopted fandom of Crash Bandicoot, taking out orders to have a nuke dropped. She being tons and tons of miles from the drop site detonates it to vaporize a castle that was thought to have been being used by Cortex's enemies as a fortress to construct weaponry against his faction. The portion of castle you see being blown away is just a SMALL portion of the whole castle, as you can see the mushroom cloud isn't centered on what you do see, because if it were, you wouldn't see any castle at all. Hydro bombs are like that.

I did this in copic inks, multiliners and colored pencils and I am overall pleased with the clarity! Also, I FINALLY have my scanner back and working MUCH better than it was before I abandoned it for the stress and strain of using a 7.2 megapixel camera with a broken viewscreen. Hope you like it as well, because if you DON'T well I'll just get depressed and shitty.
